HERKIMER, N.Y. - Charlie Anderson missed a potential game-winning goal in the final two minutes of regulation, but redeemed himself in double overtime with the a golden goal to give the Generals a 1-0 win over Genesee in the NJCAA Region 3 title game. Anderson bounced a shot over the keeper's head off a crossing pass to give the HCCC their 23rd consecutive regional title.

The Generals advance to the national championship tournament, which they will host starting November 8th.
