OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Oswego County man is dead after losing control of his vehicle.

The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. Monday on State Route 49 in the Town of West Monroe.

The Oswego County Sheriff's office says Steven Uehlin, 59, lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and hit a utility pole.

Uehlin was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
