FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A North Country man is dead after crashing into tractor trailer in Franklin County Monday morning.

Troopers say Anthony Bailey, 49, of Malone, was on State Route 37 in the Town of Westville when he crossed the center line. He hit the semi head on at around 7:30 a.m.

Bailey was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the tractor trailer was treated for minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
