SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The suspect in a string of arson fires in Syracuse's Tipperary Hill neighborhood is headed to prison. Shayne Davis pleaded guilty to charges in connection with six fires that happened between the months of May and June.
One of those fires, at a home on Cayuga Street killed Frederick Brown, 90.
Davis was arrested in July, and Tuesday, pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter and second degree arson. He will be sentenced late next month.
