SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police made an arrest in a high profile murder case that sparked community outrage.
Jerry Crosby, 30, has been charged in the death of Jerry Mack, 65. Police say Mack's seven-year old son saw the killing first hand on October 19th. The child managed to call 911.
Investigators have said that three people were involved in the attack. Crosby was charged with first degree murder, robbery and burglary. He was arraigned and is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Mack's death influenced leaders hold a special rally last week calling for an end to the violence. Several people spoke at the Dunbar Center.
