Three stabbings under investigation in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating three stabbings that happened overnight. The first stabbing happened around 1:15 a.m. on Otisco Street.
Police say Tiffany Hockeburn was stabbed in the left hip and left knee. She was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An hour later, another stabbing happened on South Geddes Street. Police say Casime Kelly, 37, was stabbed in the back. Kelly is also at Upstate with non-life-threatening injuries.
The last stabbing was connected to an attempted robbery around 3:25 a.m. on the corner of Park and John streets. Police say the victim, Anthony Tucker, was approached by a suspect who demanded money, then stabbed him in the head. Tucker was also taken to Upstate where his injuries are not life-threatening.
Police don't believe the stabbings were related.
