JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- Flames burst through a vacant farmhouse Wednesday night.

Fire investigators are looking for what sparked a fire in the Village of Ellisburg. The farmhouse was already fully involved when crews arrived on the scene Wednesday night.

Firefighters from several departments in southern Jefferson County joined forces to fight the flames.

A portion of State Route 193 had to be closed while crews put the fire out. Luckily, no one was hurt.
