SYLVAN BEACH, N.Y. -- State Police in Sylvan Beach are investigating a home invasion. It happened around 5:20 p.m. Thursday at a home on 19th Avenue.

They say four men dressed in "Scream" Halloween masks went into the home and assaulted the owner. The homeowner was able to get away and was taken to Oneida City Hospital and is expected to be ok.

The suspects ran away from the home.
