LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Signs of winter are already present in the North Country. Wet snow was falling Friday afternoon in Barnes Corners, a snowmobile haven on the northern end of Tug Hill.
Although the ground was soaked from earlier rainfall, enough snow fell to collect on roofs, trees and car windows.
Traffic in the area wasn't affected too much, but overnight lows could mean some accumulation for Saturday morning.
