SAN DIEGO, CA -- In a couple days, the SU basketball team will be playing its first regular season game on a temporary court built on the flight deck of the USS Midway.

The game, which pits the #9 Orange and 20th ranked Aztecs, is being played in conjunction with Veterans Day Weekend.

Only about 5,400 fans are expected to be on board the massive 1,000-foot ship to watch the game on a court that took about 10 days to install.

The game, which will take place Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern, was moved because of the chance of rain expected in San Diego tonight. Even with clear skies and a slight wind Sunday, it should be fun for Orange fans to watch the ‘Cuse compete in a regulation game outdoors.

Throughout the weekend, YNN will have much more on the game, and the history behind the former aircraft carrier, which is now a museum on San Diego Bay.
