DRYDEN, N.Y. - In a matchup of the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in NJCAA Division III women's soccer, top-ranked Mohawk Valley Community College dominated Gloucester 4-1 on Sunday for its second national championship.
Mia DeGironimo was named tournament MVP for the Hawks, who finish the season 21-1-1 with that one loss having been avenged in the regional playoffs.
Mohawk Valley's other title was won in 2003.
