SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Old Navy shoppers across Central New York will be able to help AIDS victims this holiday season. Through Saturday, the store is holding an outerwear drive at all of its locations. Clothing will be donated to AIDS Community Resources.
Each year, the Holiday Angels program supplies basic human needs to its clients. Old Navy is asking shoppers to donate new or lightly used coats, gloves, hats and other winter accessories.
"I think it's a great idea for the community to see that organizations and businesses such as Old Navy, no matter how big we are or how small we are, can always donate and give back to the communities we live in and work in," said store manager Kim Rieppel.
Last year, the Holiday Angels program helped more than 400 people.
