Four injured in crash between ambulance and dump truck

DRYDEN, N.Y. -- Four people were injured in an accident involving an ambulance in Tompkins County. It happened near the intersection of State Route 13 and Pinckney Road in the Town of Dryden around 6:30 a.m.

Sheriff's deputies said an ambulance and a garbage truck were involved in the crash. An EMT, a patient, and a paramedic in the ambulance were all taken to Upstate University Hospital. They're all expected to be okay. The driver of the garbage truck was treated at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
