SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Some of the YNN crew rang in the holiday spirit with Army bells Saturday.
YNN volunteered at the the Salvation Army's red kettles in Destiny USA to help needy families in Central New York.
Money collected from the annual drive helps the Salvation Army with the upcoming Christmas Bureau Distribution and other programs to help the less fortunate.
Last year, the Salvation Army in Syracuse area provided services to close to 42,000 people.
In the last five years, more than 14,000 families and 35,000 children have been served at the annual Christmas Bureau Distribution.
