NEW YORK STATE -- Kazoo Fest is back to help Camp Good Days and Special Times.

The fundraiser is set up at the Shops at Ithaca Mall and Destiny USA in Syracuse, along with locations around Rochester and Buffalo.

For the next month, volunteers will be selling kazoos, Christmas ornaments, water bottles and peppermint pens as part of the annual Joe Benet Memorial Kazoo Fest. Money raised helps children and families affected by cancer and other life threatening challenges.

"Twenty-nine people a week die from cancer in this county. We have an effort now called Cancer Mission 20/20. It's an effort to end cancer by the end of the decade. All the proceeds you see here, all the proceeds from the sales go right to our programs. We're going into our 34th year, all our programs are free of charge because of efforts like this," said James McCauley Jr.

Kazoo Fest runs through Sunday, December 23rd.
