CENTRAL NEW YORK -- The official start of winter is still nearly a month away, but many parts of Central New York are seeing their first snowfall of the season.
The flakes started flying early Saturday morning in Syracuse and other areas.
Scattered snow showers are expected to fall throughout the day.
