ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- People from around Central New York got to enjoy some sweets, wine and music, all while helping a good cause.

Saturday was the seventh annual Wine and Chocolate Festival. Dozens of vendors filled the Horticulture Building at the New York State Fairgrounds.

The festival featured live music, a large supply of chocolate and wine samples and various items to buy.

One local vendor says the event is a great way to meet people with similar interests.

"It's nice to meet to people, the people with the wineries are very nice and a lot of people like to see what we do," said Ginny Thoma of Two Winey Sisters of Syracuse.

One dollar from every bottle of wine purchased was donated to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
