BRADFORD COUNTY, P.A. - A young man was killed and another was seriously hurt in a one-car crash in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.

It happened in Leroy Township just after 4:30 p.m. Friday.

State Police say the car was headed east on Southside Road when the driver failed to make a right turn, crashing into a tree. Both people in the were airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The driver, Tyler Molyneux, 20, of Canton, Pennsylvania, was severely hurt in the crash.

The passenger, Nicklas Bernat, 20, of Troy, Pennsylvania was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash. They also tell us that neither of the men were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
