SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Orange received some good news. The football team is once again headed to the Pinstripe Bowl.

SU has accepted an invitation to the game, which will be played on December 29th at Yankee Stadium.

The Orange played in the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl in 2010, beating Kansas State. They earned the trip this year by finishing the regular season with a 7 and 5 record, including a share of the Big East championship. They'll be facing off against an unnamed team from the Big 12.
