LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Lewis County man has been arrested on sex abuse charges.

State Police in Lowville say Daniel Rounds, 29, sexually abused an 11-year-old child, having contact with her back in September of 2008.

Rounds has been charged with criminal sex act and sex abuse, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Rounds, who is from Port Leyden, was arraigned and sent to the Lewis County jail on $5,000 bail.
