ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Onondaga County Sheriff's office is searching for a man they say took off during a court appearance.

Sheriff's deputies say Adrian Alfaro, 30, of Clay, was in court to answer to a felony criminal contempt charge. But before he was arraigned, they say he ran from the court house.

Deputies searched for Alfaro in the surrounding area, but had no luck. He is described as 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
