Man hits National Grid truck

MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man has been accused of driving drunk and smashing into a National Grid truck.

The crash happened Sunday evening at the intersection of Fyler and Adams roads in the Town of Sullivan.

Aaron Williams, 41, from Kirkville, drove through traffic cones and struck a parked National Grid pickup truck.

No one was hurt and Williams refused medical treatment. Deputies say his blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.

Williams was ticketed for aggravated DWI and failure to comply with a flag person.
