SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse men's basketball team rightfully celebrated Jim Boeheim's 900th career win on Monday night but Boeheim was rightfully concerned about how it almost didn't happen thanks to a second-half collapse.
Syracuse led Detroit by 20 points with six minutes to play before the Titans went on a 16-0 run and got within three points in the final minute. The Orange hung on wo tin 72-68 but will look for a much more complete effort in its next game Saturday against Temple at Madison Square Garden.
