Sheriff John Burns says he's personally investigating an incident that happened on December 1st involving a deputy sheriff and the use of a patrol vehicle. He says the incident was in violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

No arrests have been made in connection with this investigation.

Due to Christmas being next week, Burns says the investigation will continue over the next few weeks.
