Marine Corporal Kyle Schneider, 23, was killed in action by roadside bomb while on combat patrol in Afghanistan last June. He had previously been knocked unconscious by another roadside bomb just a month earlier.

Schneider grew up in the Town of Lysander and graduated in 2006 from CW Baker High School. His parents say they're thankful and appreciative of the local tribute.
