CHAMPION, N.Y. -- Slippery road conditions caused many minor accidents during Friday morning's commute, including in Jefferson County, where a cement mixer truck went off the road.
The cement truck had to be towed away after it slid down an embankment in the Town of Champion.
Crews responded to State Route 26 around 9:30 a.m. Friday. A large section of the road was closed for more than an hour, while several large tow trucks tried to get the cement truck back onto the road.
It's unknown whether anyone was hurt in the accident.
