SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Two people were hospitalized following a head-on crash Friday morning in Syracuse. Police say just before 8 a.m., a 35-year-old woman's car crossed the center line on Teall Avenue and hit an SUV head on.
The woman was taken to Upstate University Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the SUV, a 30-year-old man, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and is expected to be okay.
A section of Teall Avenue was closed for about 45 minutes while crews cleaned up a gas spill. The cause is still under investigation.
