DELAWARE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Delaware County man is accused of trying to escape deputies, and driving into a patrol car. Detectives say the incident happened in the village of Walton Thursday night.

Elijah Nixon, 42, has been charged with reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say Nixon has been dealing narcotics in Delaware County. More charges are pending in the case.
