NEW YORK CITY – It was a ringing start to the day for the SU football team. Quarterback Ryan Nassib and some teammates joined some of their opponents from West Virginia to help kick off the day's trading at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning.

The Orange take on the Mountaineers in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on Saturday. Hopefully, they’ll fare better on the field that in the market. The Dow, NASDAQ and S&P 500 indexes all fell to open the day.
