Man hospitalized after drive-by shooting
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is in the hospital after an overnight shooting. Police say Anthony Veasley, 23, was walking in the 1800 block of East Fayette Street just before 1 a.m., when he was shot in the rear.
The shots allegedly came from a tan vehicle heading westbound on East Fayette. Veasley was taken to Upstate University Hospital but is expected to be okay. He wasn't able to give a suspect description.
