BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A Binghamton man has been accused of attacking another man with a knife. It happened on Burdick Road in the Town of Binghamton Saturday night.

The sheriff's office says Richard Hadley Jr., 41, slashed a 19-year-old man in the shoulder with a knife during a fight. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.

Hadley has been charged with second degree assault and second degree menacing. He's being held at the Broome County Jail without bail.
