MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The woman accused of providing guns used in the Christmas Eve ambush in Webster is expected to appear in court today. Dawn Nguyen is scheduled to appear in Henrietta Town Court.

She is charged with knowingly making a false statement in connection with the purchase of two firearms resulting in the deaths of the two firemen.

The U.S. Attorney’s office says Nguyen bought a semi-automatic rifle and a .12 gauge shotgun for William Spengler from Gander Mountain back in June of 2010.

If convicted, she faces a maximum penalty of up to ten years in prison.
