SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A northside Syracuse neighborhood is about to have its grocery store back. It's been six months since the Pond Street Wegmans shut its doors. This coming Tuesday, Tops Friendly Markets will host a grand opening at that location.

The city was able to negotiate a deal to bring Tops to the site, after a PILOT deal was approved by the Syracuse Common Council. The opening will add about 80 jobs to the area.

The official grand opening will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
