SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After losing seven-straight meetings with Georgetown, four by three points or fewer, the Syracuse women's basketball team took out a whole lot of frustration on Saturday with an 86-56 victory.
Kayla Alexander notched her sixth double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds and also had five blocks for SU, which at 14-1 overall is one win away from tying the best start in program history. The Orange (2-0 Big East) will try to do that Tuesday against DePaul at the Carrier Dome.
