SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse's Destiny USA is full of laughs as the city's newest comedy club opens for business.

The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant held its grand opening Saturday night at the chain's 13th location.

In addition to featuring local talent and up and coming comedians from around the country, the chain has hosted big names like Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres and Josh Blue at some of its other locations.

A manager of Funny Bone says a comedy club is exactly what Destiny needs because nothing beats live entertainment.

"There's nothing like being in that room, that showroom and everyone is laughing, having a good time and forget about your problems for that hour and a half and you leave with a great experience," Jeff Gase said.

The comedy club is located on the third floor of the Destiny USA expansion. It will hold more than 300 customers in half round stadium style seating.

Upcoming shows include Josh Sneed, Tom Wilson and Rob Little.
