MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A skateboarder had to be flown to the hospital after being hit by a car.

Madison County 911 dispatchers say the accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. Monday along Route 20 in Morrisville. The victim was taken to Cazenovia so Air One could meet emergency crews.

State Troopers are investigating the incident. There is no word on the victim's name or condition.
