GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. -- Gouverneur Police are investigating a possible hit and run accident involving a pedestrian.

Police said a 46-year-old man was found lying along Johnstown Street near Mills Park with bruises and facial injuries. Investigators believe he was hit by a Chevy Impala that was heading westbound. The car should have damage to the passenger side headlight and side mirror.
