CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Cayuga County Health Department has issued a boil water advisory for the Village of Cayuga and neighbors in the Aurelius Water District 3 are also impacted.

The high winds this weekend caused dirt and silt to get into the water treatment plant's intake valve. That makes it more difficult for water to be processed.
