ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A former Elmira woman has been sentenced in connection to the deaths of four of her children in Rochester.
Bobbie Kugler, 31, started a fire at her Rochester home last February that killed four kids and injured three others.
Kugler admitted she was drunk and had taken sleeping pills when she lit a picture on fire to burn some incense in her bedroom. She said her actions started the fire that killed Gage Reavey, 14, Greg Kugler, 13, Kandee Kugler, 12, and Kaiden Kugler, 6.
Kugler had just moved from Elmira to Rochester at the time of the fire.
She will serve seven to 15 years in state prison and waived her right to appeal the plea.
