AUBURN, N.Y. -- A New York City man was arrested on his 26th birthday following an investigation into an attempted bank robbery in Auburn.

Police say a man demanded money from employees at the Generations Bank on North Seward Avenue just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, but the suspect ran away without getting any money from the teller.

Police say shortly after the incident, they found Isaac Nesbit, who matched the description of the suspect. He was arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
