SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A traffic stop in Syracuse ends with a large amount of drugs seized and four people in custody.

Police stopped to check out an illegally parked vehicle on the 500 block of Richmond Avenue a little after 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Investigators say four men were inside, and officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana.

Police said officers searched the car and found about a pound of cocaine worth around $40,000. They also found a loaded semi-automatic handgun.

Police arrested the four men inside the vehicle: 34-year-old Sadiyq Issac, 29-year-old James Caesar, 25-year-old Tony Brown and 28-year-old Jamiah Bowens. All four men face felony drug and weapon possession charges.
