CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. – It was quite a scare in the Village of Wellsburg Saturday after a bomb squad was called in.

State troopers say emergency crews were responding to a car fire at a Church Street home in the village when they found a World War II era mortar shell inside. An individual was ticketed for trespassing, although there were no charges filed for the shell.

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident.
