Evening commute could be slippery

CENTRAL NEW YORK -- That weather combination made for a slick commute Monday morning and drivers can expect much of the same for their return trip home.
Our meteorologists say it will be a messy commute, but should lighten up over night. But untreated roads could be slippery, so just keep that in mind when driving. Reduce your speed and allow yourself more time to get home.
Places like Lewis County have issued a travel advisory.
Across our region, there have been more than 100 school closings, early dismissals and cancellations of afternoon activities
But for those of you who don't like this kind of weather very much, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Tuesday, it is expected to warm up. It's expected to be in the 40s.
