Ithaca shooting under investigation
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Police are looking for the suspect involved in a shooting in Ithaca. Ithaca and Cornell police officers responded to 100 Oak Avenue around 1:30 a.m. for reports of gun shots.
About a half hour later, a man was found at 503 Hancock Street with a gunshot wound in the backside. The victim was alert and walking. He confirmed the shooting happened on Oak Avenue but wouldn't provide any other information. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
