OSWEGO, N.Y. -- People in Oswego were fighting the winter chill with some entertainment. "Warm Up Oswego” was held this weekend.

Among the events was the Hot 2K Trot Run over the bridges in Oswego. The festival also features a snow sculpture contest and sled race.

Organizers say the event highlights the best of the city.

"We're just trying to get people out and about. We've got a great city. There's something always happening. We just collaborated all our efforts to get people to come to Oswego, come out and enjoy all we have to offer," said Jackie Sheffield, Warm Up Oswego Committee Member.

This marks the eighth year for Warm Up Oswego.
