SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Seneca County man accused of murdering his son will be arraigned this afternoon.

Seneca County Sheriff's Deputies say Karl Karlsen, 53, killed his son, Levi Karlsen, by dropping a car on him four years ago. Deputies say Karlsen established a large life insurance policy for his son two weeks before his death, and the murder was meant to look like an accident. Karlsen claimed the incident happened at his home while he was out.

Investigators in California have also re-opened the case of a fire that killed Karlsen's ex-wife in 1991.
