SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Gas prices are spiking in Central New York. According to Gas Buddy, the average for a gallon of gas in Syracuse has jumped nearly 15 cents in one week.

Right now, the average price is $3.80 a gallon. That's a lot higher than what other people are paying from coast to coast.

According to Gas Buddy, the national average is only $3.48.
