DELAWARE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A fundraiser is being held in Delaware County to help buy new automatic external defibrillators for emergency responders.
AEDs can make the difference between life and death when a person goes into sudden cardiac arrest.
Four new defibrillators were donated by Public Health in 2011 to replace the most outdated models, but more are needed.
The fundraiser is being sponsored jointly by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and the Delaware County Emergency Services Department.
If you have any questions about the fundraiser, please call Sheriff Thomas E. Mills at (607) 746-2336 or EMS Coordinator Steve Hood at (607) 746-9600.
