TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Tompkins County man was killed in a farm accident.

Sheriff's deputies say a 30-year-old man was working at a farm on Bostwick Road in Ithaca Tuesday afternoon. According to investigators, he got tangled up in a piece of equipment.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies have not released his name.
