SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a natural gas leak they say was caused during a burglary on Syracuse's north side. The leak was discovered around noon Friday on Court Street.
Police Sergeant Tom Connellan says that suspects were attempting to steal copper pipe from a building, and cut its gas line.
Court Street was closed from North Salina Street to Sunset Avenue as a result.
